1. Introduction
These Mobile App Terms ("App Terms") govern your download, installation, and use of TheSHFTApp LLC's ("TheSHFTApp," "we," "us," or "our") mobile applications for iOS and Android devices ("Mobile App" or "App").
These App Terms supplement the Terms of Use and all incorporated policies. In the event of a conflict between these App Terms and the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use govern unless these App Terms expressly state otherwise.
2. License
Subject to your compliance with the Terms of Use and these App Terms, TheSHFTApp grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you personally own or control for your personal use of the Services.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App;
- Create derivative works based on the App;
- Use the App on jailbroken or rooted devices in a manner that exploits system vulnerabilities; or
- Sublicense or sell access to the App.
3. Platform Store Terms
3.1 Apple App Store. Apps distributed through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict, Apple's terms control with respect to App Store-specific matters. Apple is not responsible for any claims related to the App or your use of it; TheSHFTApp is solely responsible.
3.2 Google Play Store. Apps distributed through Google Play are subject to Google Play's Terms of Service. Google is not responsible for any claims related to the App; TheSHFTApp is solely responsible.
3.3 Third-Party Beneficiary. Apple and Google (as applicable) are third-party beneficiaries of these App Terms with respect to the limitations of license and warranty disclaimers.
4. Device Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions to deliver features:
- Location: For location-based job searching and Marketplace features (where available)
- Camera/Photo Library: For resume or profile photo uploading
- Notifications: For application updates, career alerts, and account notifications
- Contacts: If a contacts-sync feature is offered (not currently available in all versions)
Permissions are requested at the time of use and may be managed through device settings. Denying a permission may limit certain features.
5. Mobile Data
Your use of the App may consume mobile data. You are responsible for any data charges imposed by your mobile carrier. TheSHFTApp is not responsible for data charges.
6. App Updates
TheSHFTApp may issue App updates from time to time. Some updates may be required for continued use of the Services or for security purposes. Failure to install required updates may limit or prevent access to certain features.
7. Offline Functionality
Certain App features may require an active internet connection. TheSHFTApp does not guarantee offline functionality for any specific feature.
8. Availability
TheSHFTApp may modify, discontinue, or withdraw the App or any App feature at any time. We may also remove the App from distribution stores at any time.
9. Export
The App may be subject to U.S. export control laws. By downloading the App, you confirm compliance with the Export Controls and Sanctions Policy.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS." THESHFTAPP MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT COMPATIBILITY WITH ANY SPECIFIC DEVICE, OPERATING SYSTEM VERSION, OR CARRIER CONFIGURATION.
