Copyright Policy

1. TheSHFTApp's Intellectual Property

TheSHFTApp LLC ("TheSHFTApp") owns or licenses all content, software, AI Systems, trademarks, and other intellectual property made available through the Platform. The Platform, including its original content, features, functionality, design, user interface, code, and AI models, is protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent, and other applicable laws in the United States and internationally.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, transmit, or otherwise exploit any TheSHFTApp content or Platform elements without our express written permission.

2. User Content and Ownership

You retain ownership of User Content you submit to the Platform. By submitting User Content, you grant TheSHFTApp the license described in the Terms of Use (Section 6). You represent and warrant that you own or have the right to grant this license and that your User Content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.

3. AI-Generated Content

3.1 Generated Content Provided to You. AI Output generated by the Platform based on your AI Inputs is provided to you for your personal or authorized business use. TheSHFTApp grants you a non-exclusive right to use Generated Content for the purposes for which it was generated.

3.2 Ownership Limitations. AI-generated content may not qualify for copyright protection under applicable law. TheSHFTApp makes no representation about the copyright ownership or protectability of any specific AI Output.

3.3 Third-Party Rights. AI Output may reflect patterns from large training datasets. TheSHFTApp implements measures to reduce the likelihood of AI Output reproducing third-party copyrighted material, but cannot guarantee that all AI Output is free from third-party IP concerns.

4. TheSHFTApp Trademarks

"TheSHFTApp," "SHFTR," and associated logos, slogans, and trade dress are trademarks and service marks of TheSHFTApp LLC. You may not use our marks without our prior written consent except for fair use references identifying our products and services.

5. Respecting Third-Party Rights

When using the Services, you agree not to:

Submit or upload content that infringes third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other IP rights;
Use scraped or unlicensed third-party content in AI Inputs or User Content in a manner that violates those third parties' rights; or
Reproduce employer or recruiter content outside the Platform without authorization.
